I’m thrilled to share that I was honored as Best Stylist in the 2023 Best of Racine awards – a recognition that means the world to me. Recently, I also achieved my state certification as a cosmetology instructor, which allows me to not only refine my craft but also share my love for styling with the next generation of artists.

I’m all about creating a warm, welcoming vibe where you can relax, laugh, and leave feeling refreshed and confident. When can I message Matt?
For the best response time, please send texts or social messages Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm. Messages sent after 5:00 pm or on weekends will be replied to on the next business day.
Why don’t I always get an immediate reply?
Half Moon is a small, stylist-run salon without a receptionist. Basically, Matt is a one-man-operation. When he is behind the chair, his hands are literally in hair, so he can’t always respond right away. Your message is important, and he’ll get back to you as soon as possible during office hours.
Can I send multiple follow-up messages?
We kindly ask that you avoid sending multiple or late-night messages (especially after 8:00 pm). It helps keep communication organized and ensures that every client gets a thoughtful reply.
What’s the best way to contact Matt?
Text messages are preferred. They’re quicker, easier to track, and help keep communication clear.
Why this policy?
Healthy work–life balance matters. Respecting these communication boundaries allows Matt to give his best energy to both his craft and his clients—while also having time to recharge outside of the salon.
